There is still time for things to go horribly wrong

Now we all know about Life's theory of balance, if you want to have fun in good times you will also have to go through the bad times. But what if we start enjoying every bit of life we are offered because it is exclusive, it is uncertain, it is with us only to go away soon, I mean don't we want something badly, when we know it is not forever? That's when it becomes precious, doesn't it? We hear so many people claiming to be adventurous but when they are offered adventure with it's adrenaline, all they do is crib, shout, cry and yearn for happy times, basically give up.

Ever seen people sitting in roller coaster rides? Most people get on it in search of excitement, but that once it starts they are terrified and want the cars to stop. What do they expect? Having chosen adventure shouldn't they be prepared to go the whole way? Or do they think that the intelligent thing to do would be to avoid the ups and downs and spend all their time on a carousel, going round and round on the spot?

Most of us live without wanting to know what we really want. A soldier goes on war not to serve his country but to die for his country, a wife lives with her husband not to show him how happy she is but to show him how devoted she is, a husband goes to office and works not because he likes what he does but to prove to his family that he is the man of the house, parents nurture their kids not because they rejoice it but because the kids will one day fulfil their unfulfilled dreams, kids respect their parents not because they feel it but because they feel bound to repay to their sacrifices. We are guilty or I must say we are sadist, we are always enjoying pain pleasure. We can never say anything directly, everything is done is innuendo or suggestions.

Someday, try to open your eyes and see things the way it is. It will be easier to accept life with its complications. It is all right in front of you... all you need to do is see.
